Future thinker

We’re looking for someone curious about the future to help sell our industry-proven digital products to the bus and light rail operator markets. Innovations like electric vehicles, driverless cars and bike-share schemes are already changing how we choose to travel. You’ll be excited to enable traditional players to compete in this rapidly evolving space.

Straight talker

You’re adept at using digital technologies because they’re integral to your daily routine. Over the years you’ve become a natural at translating complicated ideas into language that anyone can understand, and you know instinctively how to communicate these to a range of audiences. Selling impossible delivery timescales or cutting prices at all costs is a shot to nothing. You’ll be sensitive to customer budgets and be able to design solutions that are a win for all parties.

People person

You understand that being personable and professional is key to successful sales and that relationships built on trust, both with customers and colleagues, are key to a high-performing product and service business.

Brilliant planner

You’ll be able to manage sales pipelines with rigorous attention to detail, knowing that this data feeds the company’s management information. You are naturally organised, documenting contact with potential customers and following up on any agreed actions. As such, you’ll be able to produce internal pipeline status reports on a regular basis.

A keen eye, tuned ear

Passenger has developed a market-leading suite of digital products, and the feedback you gain from potential customers will be integral to shaping a strategy that makes us impossible for them to ignore.

Team player

As part of the role, you’ll work closely with our CEO who has overall responsibility for meeting our sales targets. You’ll work side-by-side with our Marketing & Communications Manager too, with whom you will plan and deliver our sales and marketing strategy.

Happy traveller

The role is based out of our Bournemouth office engaging with potential customers all over the UK. You’re comfortable making sustainable travel choices, including by foot, bike, bus or train. We like to practice what we preach as a public transport focused company, and know this helps communicate products to potential customers.
